Little Folks Produce & Meats CSA
(What's New?) Growing slowly but surly

Because of the late April snow and past rain
plus cool weather in late May and June the
veggies are growing a little slower then they
should because of a lack of sun and heat. Most
of the garden was stated seeds direct into the
ground. The ground was around 50 degrees
most seeds needs 65 to 70 degrees so
sprouting was a little slower then usual. We do
not use any hot house for starting plants.
Planting started around end of April to mid May
the planting started a little late because of the
late snow we had in April this was not a good
spring for gardening we kind of went from winter
to summer but it do look like it will be a warm
summer and veggies love warm days with cool
watering in the mornings. The gardens are
coming along very well
So please do not worry the vegetables are
growing and will be arriving to you very soon we
are looking to start harvesting around first week
of July we are sorry for the delay but we are
working with mother nature and she just has not
been at her best this spring here or in most of
the country this year but we are still blessed.
